Recently, our tailor-made fully automatic multi-lane stick packing machine dedicated to the pest control industry has finished assembly and commissioning in our workshop. The equipment will be delivered to a professional domestic rodenticide manufacturer, specially designed for individually packaging dough-style anticoagulant rodent baits (Bromadiolone / Brodifacoum paste & dough rodenticides) into stick sachets. It successfully addresses multiple industry challenges including precise dosing, leakage prevention and high-volume mass production of viscous dough baits, which ordinary packaging equipment cannot handle well.

1. Key Customized Upgrades to Solve Dough Rodenticide Packaging Pain Points

Different from dry powder and loose granular materials, dough-like rodent baits feature strong viscosity, high adhesiveness, soft texture and tendency to ooze under pressure. Conventional stick packing machines frequently suffer from blocked feeding pipes, unstable weighing accuracy and bait leakage caused by trapped materials during sealing. We implemented targeted modifications to comply with pest control pharmaceutical production standards:

1. Anti-adhesion Dosing & Feeding System

We abandoned standard screw feeding structures, and adopted flip scraping volumetric dosing hoppers with Teflon non-stick coating on all inner walls. This design ensures smooth and even discharging of sticky dough baits without material buildup. Each lane supports independent weight adjustment, with filling capacity precisely ranging from 3g to 10g, covering all common specifications for household use and public sanitation rodent elimination projects. Weight deviation caused by residual sticky materials is fully eliminated.

2. Double-layer Sealing Structure for Zero Leakage

Widened sealing surfaces are applied on both longitudinal and transverse sealing assemblies, equipped with segmented independent temperature control modules. The heating curve and sealing pressure are optimized to cope with minor material overflow during filling. After heat sealing, sachets are completely sealed to lock moisture inside dough baits, avoiding leakage and cracking during long-term storage. The slim stick packs can be directly placed into rodent bait stations, perfectly matching bulk procurement demands of national public health rodent eradication campaigns.

3. Corrosion-resistant & Sanitary Overall Structure

All material contact parts and machine frames are constructed with grade 304 stainless steel for easy daily disinfection and cleaning. Sealing blocks are made of wear-resistant titanium-carbon alloy to resist slight corrosion from rodenticides and extend service life. The fully enclosed blue acrylic safety shield prevents accidental spillage of toxic bait dust and protects operators from moving mechanical components, fully complying with safety regulations for biocide production.

2. Core Production Advantages

High Throughput with Multi-lane Parallel Operation
 
Configurable with 4 to 8 independent working lanes running simultaneously, the maximum output reaches 280 sachets per minute, 4-6 times higher than single-lane packing machines. Any single lane can be shut down separately for maintenance while other lanes keep running continuously, minimizing production downtime losses.
Intelligent PLC Control for Quick Specification Switching
Equipped with touch-screen PLC control system; over ten sets of preset formulas for sachet length and filling weight can be stored. Parameters for different dough rodenticide sizes can be recalled with one click without mechanical disassembly. Built-in safety alarms trigger automatic stop in cases of film shortage, abnormal sealing temperature and material depletion, enabling unattended automatic production.
Stable Pneumatic System Ensures Consistent Dough Shaping
 
An integrated air pressure tank is installed at the machine bottom to supply steady air pressure to all pneumatic actuators. Uniform extrusion force keeps dough bait intact during filling and forming, avoiding deformation and material squeezing overflow throughout the packaging process.
